The Knicks Rifle squad on the drum corps field in action. What was exciting was that Bob Lopez the Drum-Major would center himself in the circle while rifles would be tossed in all directions without being hurt in the process. What an exciting show indeed. Knicks rifle squad was well know nation wide. Also remember in those days they carried real rifles weighing a couple of pounds. Tossing them around like it was nothing. They never failed to bring the crowd to their feet cheering. It was a sight, a sound, a sensation to see them in action.

The Knicks Rifle squad on the drum corps field in action.
