Todd Stadium To Ring With Bugle Calls

"The American Dream" is here. That is the title of the Young Americans Junior Drum and Bugle Corps Eastern Circuit competition to begin at 6:45 tonight in Todd Stadium.

Six corps representing four states will be competing; the Blue Rock Corps from Wilmington, Del.; the New York Knickerbockers of Bronx, N.Y.; the Schuylhaven , Pa., Belvederes; Skylarks corps of Hellertown, Pa.; the York, Pa., White Roses; and the Haddonfield, N.J., Royaleers All-Girl Junior Drum and Bugle Corps.

The Young Americans will present and exhibition after the competing corps have performed. Prior to the competition , an invocation will be given by Young Americans' chaplain, Rev. Gerald Pzywra, assistant pastor of St. Rose- St. Mary's Catholic Church, Hampton.

The Knickerbockers, ranking among the nation's top 20 corps, will stop off on their way to the competition to offer a sneak musical performance at 5 p.m. in the mall area of Warwick Shopping Center.
